So I just walked to the store, and these 2 girls and a guy come into the store, already looking at me. And one of the girls is like “Is your name TB?” and I’m like “Nope.” and the guy is like “Is your name Tim?” and I’m like “My name’s Jeff.” and one of the girls like squeals at the top of her lungs, and the dude is like “TOLD YOU!” to the other girl, and they’re all laughing and stuff. I don’t know what to do so I just go about my business. Purchase my goods. Then as I’m leaving one of the girls is like “Alright Jeff… I stay on 64th…” and I’m like “Heh heh-okay.” and the guy laughs at her, and I leave.

I relayed this story to my friends and they agree that I dissed this girl, even though I didn’t mean to. She was trying to flirt with me they allege, and I was supposed to talk to her and get more information. THIS DID NOT EVEN OCCUR TO ME AS IT HAPPENED! I just thought “She stays on 64th? That’s weird information to volunteer, what am I supposed to do with that? Oh well, gonna go home and make dinner.”

My friend says “I presume this girl wasn’t cute.” but she WAS. Dammit. I have completely terrible instincts when it comes to this kind of stuff! I guess in my mind I just don’t think of myself as an appealing guy, so I am more often than not completely oblivious. Man… makes me wonder how many missed signals I’ve missed in my life. Dumb self!

Also, that guy laughed at her when I was just like “Heh heh-okay” so now I feel guilty on top of being an idiot because I made her look dumb. Oops. I guess if I ever meet her again I’ll have to make it up to her by doing sex with her.
