Reread Maus, one of my favorite graphic novels. It had been a really long time since I read it for the first time, and it crushed me all over again. So many tears while reading this book. Why do people even make up horror stories when reality is so much scarier? No monster compares to human history. Maus is so incredibly honest, so brilliant in how it’s executed, and so so heartbreaking. It’s one of the few things that I think is not only a good read, but an important one.
