My 8yr old brother reading I Kill Giants, a graphic novel with a young female lead.
When I explained to him I was taking the picture for a blog that posts pictures of guys reading comics with female characters or by female creators, he asked if the blog was something that offended girls. I was very proud and impressed that he was thoughtful enough to care whether the intent was respectful or not. He’s a really good kid. The book’s really good also, check it out if you haven’t.
